For Artists
Every piece of written work published here has a visual counterpart made specifically for it
If you're picturing a soulless process where we assign each script to an in-house graphic designer who churns out some variation of the same twelve cartoons, you have us all wrong.
When we accept a screenplay, we find the artist whose eye fits the story, matched on instinct, on mood, on visual language. They read the work the way our readers will: synopsis, scenes, influences, and all. Then they make something in response to it. The writer has a world in their head. The artist helps build what that world looks like.
If you are an artist - an illustrator, photographer, or someone who works in any visual medium - and you are interested in working with us, we'd love to hear from you. Introduce yourself: art@avenircinema.com
*We pay all contributing artists. Rates are discussed individually based on the project.
